Barnstable County Sheriff’s Office Statement on Criminal Investigation of a Cadet
BOURNE — A Barnstable County Sheriff’s Office provisional employee, who is a cadet in our current Recruit Training Academy, has been placed on unpaid administrative leave due to a criminal investigation related to an off-duty incident that occurred Sunday (May 18, 2025) in Harwich.
Tatiana Jacobs is charged with armed assault to murder.
At this time, the Sheriff’s Office has no further comment due to the ongoing investigation.
