The Cape Cod Citizen Corps Council is comprised of representatives of various Citizen Corps component and affiliate programs in Barnstable County. The Cape Cod Citizen Corps Council is working to promote citizen involvement in various programs and develop a peer-to-peer network of program coordinators. The Barnstable County Sheriff's Office through the Office of Intergovernmental Relations / Citizen Corps organizes regional training opportunities, shares best practices, and provides technical assistance to program managers.
